• Mother's Day Classic (VAR Special)
    Aug 24 2021

Flashback: Welcome to a special presentation by Vision Australia Radio in support of the 2020 Mother’s Day Classic.

The Mother’s Day Classic is an annual fun run and walk raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Their aim is to deliver a fun, healthy and inspirational community event that brings the community together on Mother’s Day to support and remember those touched by breast cancer. The event was established in 1998 by Women in Super, a national network of women who work in the superannuation and finance industries.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions on social distancing, the 2020 Mother’s Day Classic walk and fun run won’t be going ahead as a physical event this year. The event has reshaped into a virtual walk or run encouraging everyone to keep healthy and get active, stay motivated and connected to help bring our community together.

The following program is compiled of articles that were published by the Mother’s Day Classic team and provide more information about the organisation, event and updates for the 2020 Mother’s Day Classic. For full details visit: https://www.mothersdayclassic.com.au/
