  • Michigan-Minnesota recap: The Wolverines win, but continue struggles, flirt with disaster against Golden Gophers
    Sep 30 2024
In this episode, Zach Shaw and Steve Lorenz recap the Michigan football team's 27-24 win over Minnesota, looking at the good and bad from the Wolverines' win. They open with a look at what Shaw believes to be Michigan’s biggest problem right now, and that’s a growing trend of sluggish second-half performances, including one that almost cost the Wolverines the game on Saturday. They discuss what has gone into those poor performances, as well as how fixable the problem is. They also look at another lackluster offensive performance, particularly from the offensive line and quarterback positions. In the second half of the episode, they look at some highlight players and moments from Michigan’s defense, which allowed the Wolverines to build a 21-0 lead in the second quarter. They also discuss what is preventing the defense from maintaining that success for a full 60 minutes. They close with a discussion about what’s next for the Wolverines, namely their first road test of the season at Washington. Sep 20 2024
In this episode, Zach Shaw and Alejandro Zuniga preview the Michigan football team's matchup against No. 11 USC, and what it will take for the Wolverines to score the high-profile win.
