Starting November 12th, our Jordan Park youth began a 4-week ArtsXploration series, hosted by the Warehouse Arts District Association (WADA). This series, “Wearable Art: Design Your Own Fashion,” is led by Karen Gonzalez Artist. In this hands-on class, our young artists are discovering their unique styles while learning techniques to transform everyday clothing into bold fashion statements! Over the next few weeks, they’ll experiment with materials like acrylic fabric paint, bleach, oil pastels, and more to create wearable masterpieces.
To wrap up the series, we’ll host a fashion show to showcase their one-of-a-kind designs.

  • S2 Ep251: CROW ON THE GO: Meet The USF St. Pete Newspaper/Digital Staff
    Nov 20 2024
Host Nanette Wiser and GM Joe Bourdow (seen here) welcomed the next generation of multimedia journalists and designers into our studio at Thrive DTSP. Our chat ranged from campus issues (housing) to covering the Bulls and future aspirations. USF has student publications on both campuses, and we enjoyed talking with Crows Nest St. Pete editors and reporters guided by former USF grad and faculty advisor Chelsea T. Zukowski, M.A. , Department of Journalism & Digital Communication USF St. Petersburg campus. The staff has been producing excellent, student-focused coverage this semester and we hope to hear some of their reporting on USF news and research and their articles on RadioStPete.com.
