Syracuse Orange Football earned a thrilling victory over the AP Top 25 UNLV Rebels 44-41 in overtime in Allegiant Stadium on Friday night. Fran Brown's team played its best game of the season, surpassing its effort over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Kyle McCord and Fadil Diggs had great games for Syracuse, answering the bell from Fran Brown. LeQuint Allen and Yasin Willis proved that the Orange have one of the better running back rooms in the ACC, if not the FBS.

Syracuse Orange Football took down the AP Top 25 UNLV Rebels 44-41 in an overtime thriller. Kyle McCord, LeQuint Allen, Oronde Gadsden, and Fadil Diggs had massive performances for Fran Brown's Syracuse squad. The Rebels All-American receiver Ricky White III had a terrific receiving game, and blocked a Jack Stonehouse punt. Syracuse's special teams was poor, but Barry Odom's poor clock management saved the Orange.
