Spencer had a successful career as a Green Devil, ending as a 3x placewinner, 2x finalist and winning a state title as a senior. Spencer began his college career at North Dakota State, spending 3 years in Fargo. This past year, Spencer decided it was best for a change of scenery and is now in his first year at Northern Illinois. He’s endured 2 shoulder surgeries in the past 10 months, cutting his season short this year. However, he’s in a good space mentally and is expected to be ready to roll next season. Luka is from San Marino, CA and was a 2x state placewinner, finishing 5th both times. Unfortunately, his junior and senior seasons were interrupted, once from a knee injury and the other due to COVID. Lennie is from Cedar Rapids, IA and was a state champion for Cedar Rapids Prairie. He went on to wrestle at the University of Iowa for legendary head coach Dan Gable. Lennie would finish as a 3x AA and 2x runner-up as a Hawkeye. After competing, Lennie would enter the coaching ranks, most notably coaching at Palmer HS in Alaska, at UC Davis and at Cal Baptist. Jake spent some time at the University of Iowa before transferring to NIACC, a junior-college school in Mason City, IA. He was a national runner-up in 2015 and helped the Trojans to a 3rd place finish. Adam is from Bonners Ferry, ID, which is roughly 30 miles from the Canadian border. He was a 3x state champ for Bonners Ferry HS. Adam stayed in-state and wrestled at Boise State, achieving AA status twice and helping lead the Broncos to 3 top-11 team finishes. He spent the last 9 years on staff at NC State before taking over the Utah Valley program prior to this season.
