Six months after the Los Angeles Lakers unveiled the first of three statues for Kobe Bryant outside of Crypto.com Arena (Staples Center), the team announced that the second statue, featuring the Hall of Famer's daughter Gigi Bryant, will be unveiled on August 2, 2024.

My trip to Las Vegas to cover Team USA's game against Canada was a wild experience, to say the least, with a couple of unexpected brushes with the Secret Service. The Los Angeles Lakers have finally made their decision to hire JJ Redick as their new head coach, replacing the recently fired Darvin Ham. Contract details have been revealed, but it remains uncertain who will be on his coaching staff and what the team will do in the NBA Draft, followed promptly by NBA free agency.
