The Giants have made several roster adjustments, including signing veteran kicker Greg Joseph off the Lions' practice squad. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, the 30-year-old kicker brings plenty of experience, having played for multiple teams since entering the NFL in 2018. His most notable stint was with the Minnesota Vikings, where he played from 2021 to 2023. With an 82.6% field goal accuracy and 90.1% on extra points, Joseph is expected to fill a critical role, especially after some struggles in the kicking game. Before signing Joseph, the Giants also worked out several other kickers, including Randy Bullock, Zan Gonzalez, Riley Patterson, and practice squad kicker Jude McAtamney.

In addition to Joseph, the Giants have added linebacker Patrick Johnson, a former 7th-round pick out of Tulane. Released by the Eagles to make room for ex-Giant Nick Gates, Johnson has spent most of his NFL career contributing on special teams. With injuries to key special teams players like Carter Coughlin and Matthew Adams, Johnson is expected to bolster this unit. His experience as a defensive end and linebacker could also give him opportunities in the Giants’ pass rush.
The hosts also discuss the Giants' recent trade deal with the Dallas Cowboys. Jordan Phillips was traded during training camp, and with his playing time condition met, the Giants now receive a 6th-round pick in 2026 in exchange for their 7th-round pick.
