Through her work, she has shaped innovative programs that connect learners in every country with free, high-quality training.

Under Miriam’s leadership, NextGenU.org’s Public Health Program serves a diverse cohort of 150 enrollees from 45 countries, while its open courses for physicians and allied health professionals reach participants from over 3,000 institutions globally. Humanitarian U, another program within NextGenU.org, has trained more than 30,000 humanitarian workers, and Nurses International supports nursing educators in over 150 countries with robust teaching resources.
