True Freedom - Our Power of Choice

This episode is deep yet powerful.

"True freedom is not the absence of struggle but the ability to choose our responses to life challenges without being restricted by old unexamined beliefs."

Thank you for all you do and touching on these two authors: E. Becker and Irvin D. Yalom. The books mentioned are on my "to read" list.

“Life’s fleeting nature is precisely what makes each moment valuable.”

Despite its title this episode was very uplifting and positive. Stuart reminded us that the thought of our mortality doesn’t have to be a source of fear or something that gives us existential crisis. On the contrary, it can motivate us to live our lives to the fullest, value our lives even more, and focus on what’s really important like doing what we love or spending time with our loved ones. This episode resonated with me a lot, and it was very soothing and pleasant to listen to.
