  • If not now Ole Miss, then when?
    Nov 8 2024

Week 11 Felder Friday edition of CSN. Say less. Loaded show breaking down another weekend of games as we start to hit the home stretch of college football's regular season. Elimination games in Baton Rouge, Lubbock, and potentially Oxford if the Rebs can't get it done. Speaking of Ole Miss, we bring in Zach Berry from On3 to talk about the showdown between Georgia and Ole Miss. What this game means a year after getting embarrassed between the hedges for the Rebs, who went out and built their roster around trying to compete in games like this. Ole Miss has to have it, Georgia maybe not as much but it should still be a doozy. Things are starting to get spicy in the Big 12 and ACC in the wake of last week's results. Hartzell thinks an undefeated team is going to lose on Saturday, plus the weekly picks segment with the Doc and 'That's my Dog' to close out the show.

  • Gauer Hour 11/8/24 - Trying not to overreact to one week of games
    Nov 8 2024

The first week of games is nearly in the books and we've got TAKES. Okay, so we're trying to not overreact to what is (for most teams) one game. But Megan Gauer and Rob Joyce do have takeaways from the season's opening week that saw three good games Monday in South Carolina-Michigan, USC-Ole Miss and UCLA-Louisville, plus some upsets on Thursday - we see you, Harvard. The duo talks those games, talks hot seat, and dishes out their hottest takes for the season.

  • CFP Reaction & Week 11 Preview
    Nov 6 2024

If you're reading this and/or listening to the midweek episode, that means civilization continues to function and life goes on. That's a good thing. Hartzell & Wayno taped this on a Tuesday night in the middle of the CFP rankings unveil, so you get 'live' reaction from the guys while the top 25 is getting released. There are takes to be had, obviously, but don't sleep on the fact that about 20 of the teams in this poll control their path to the 12-team field (it's true). Phil Steele joins the show to run through every ranked game on the board for week 11, including a pair of 'off the board' selections from the midweek slate that he really likes. And when Phil zeroes in on a MAC and Sun Belt game, you will listen. We only got 4 weeks left in the regular season, folks, let's make them count!

  • It's November - let your voice be heard
    Nov 5 2024

Yes, an Election Day edition of CSN for your enjoyment. We welcome back Roddy Jones, the Doc, and Hartzell for a full week 10 recap and the takes are flying. Alex Kirshner from Split Zone Duo joins the show to talk about what he expects from tonight's CFP rankings, plus the best (and worst) coaching jobs of the season to this point. Does anyone in LA even care about what's happening with the Trojans right now? Not really, says Alex. The Big 12 is an absolute mess, and so too is the SEC ... which might be staring the real possibility of having just two (gasp!) playoff teams when it's all said and done. Roddy says the Big Ten is almost assuredly getting 4 teams in the field, and that's not good news for the mighty SEC. Also there is chicken talk, Hartzell discusses the time he had to give away two roosters on the NextDoor app, plus Rodstradamus looks to stay hot after a massive Saturday that has him looking to dig out of the massive hole he's dug for hisself. GET OUT AND VOTE, PEOPLE!

  • Let's get weird
    Nov 1 2024

Felder Friday on the first day of November, let's get it. There are some big games on the board this weekend and the fellas are going to break it all down. Full Halloween recap since the trio of Felder, Hartzell, and the Doc are all rad dads with bellies full of hydration and candy from last night's festivities, then we get into the football talk. Is Florida going to hang around against Georgia? Are the dawgs going to let them hang around? How do we feel about Oregon at the Big House? Who do we trust more in the Ohio State/Penn State battle? There's a ton of questions and while we might not know the answers, we wade through the murky week 10 waters to break down these games and - of course - make some picks on the way out the door. The Doc is staring at a 3-game deficit to Hartzell and clearly the pressure is starting to get to him.
