Dr. Cherryl Pearson was a well-respected and loved pediatrician in the Memphis, Tennessee area. She was on-call the weekend of January 5th-6th, 2002 but went to watch her team, the Memphis Grizzlies, play at The Pyramid on Friday evening, January 4th. After the game, she returned home.
