Laura has such a wealth of knowledge and experience, and this chat was just so enlightening. She is a real advocate for supporting neurodiversity in the birth space- something I can personally say is much needed. As well as this she talks about boredom and hobby/job hopping, something that is fairly common amongst ADHDers. Laura also chats about the difficulties of navigating a relationship when you have ADHD and your partner doesn’t, as well the difficulties and advantages of raising a family with ADHD. I felt like I gained so much just by talking to Laura, and I hope you feel the same too!

Chats in the Attic is a ten part audio series bought to you by ADHD: Let's Talk. They are 30 (ish) minute episodes chatting with late-diagnosed women with ADHD about their experiences of ADHD and how it looks for them. ADHD: Let's Talk is a movement set up by Roxanne Rogers, an MRes student researching gender and ADHD, following her own ADHD diagnosis at 32. Through this social media platform, she shares the findings from her own research, and people are invited to share their own ADHD stories, to increase awareness and understanding around ADHD, particularly in groups that have not researched or given a voice thus far.
