  • Bobbie-Jo Leclair is a proud Nehiyaw from One Arrow First Nation in Saskatchewan, through her father, and Métis through her mother’s lineage. She currently serves as the provincial lead for the Indigenous Excellence for Education Team, spearheading Manitoba’s Indigenous, Northern, and Language Teacher Recruitment and Retention Strategy.

    With over 21 years of experience in education, Bobbie-Jo has dedicated her career to advancing Indigenous education in various roles. She has collaborated with educators across Manitoba to develop and facilitate professional learning opportunities that center on Indigenous perspectives, fostering greater cultural understanding and inclusion within the education system.

    Driven by a deep passion for Indigenous education, Bobbie-Jo is committed to supporting transformative change. She is actively involved in professional learning initiatives and advocacy efforts that aim to create equitable, culturally relevant educational opportunities for Indigenous students and educators across the province.
