It’s a Dear Andy and Ari episode, but first we’ve got to talk about another player taking a redshirt rather than finishing the season with his current team. This time it's USC defensive tackle Bear Alexander, who decided to leave the team after playing only 21 snaps in last week's loss at Michigan.

Plus, Andy and Ari examine the fallout from UNLV QB Matthew Sluka leaving the team over an NIL dispute. We’ve now heard multiple sides of the story. Does that change Andy or Ari’s opinion on the matter?

Meanwhile, Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy is exploring the idea of funding Michigan’s quarterback signee each year. (He may be kidding, but this is the sort of thing Portnoy would actually do.) What school’s QB recruiting efforts could Andy and Ari On3 reasonably fund?

The guys also pick the Kentucky-Ole Miss game and the Minnesota-Michigan game against the spread.

Plus, it’s a Prizepicks Preview of the Virginia Tech-Miami game.

Next, it’s time for your questions…

Who was the last active coach to beat Georgia?

If only five of Tennessee, Georgia, Bama, Ole Miss, Texas, LSU and Notre Dame can make the College Football Playoff, which ones will it be?

How did Ari manage to formulate THAT food take?

    (1:00:31-1:04:42) Conclusion

But first, we’ve got to talk about a crazy story.

UNLV QB Matthew Sluka announced late Tuesday night that he's leaving the Rebels. The Holy Cross transfer claims certain promises were unfulfilled, so he's going to redshirt and transfer somewhere else for next year. We don't yet know both sides of this story, but be sure this won't be the last time this happens.

The Pac-12 sued the Mountain West in federal court on Tuesday claiming the “poaching fee” included in the leagues’ scheduling agreement violates antitrust law. The fees would cost the league $55 million since it has already poached five Mountain West schools.

Next, Andy and Ari pick the Kentucky-Ole Miss (-17.5) and Minnesota-Michigan (-9.5).

    Now it’s time for Andy’s blazing takes…

Installing Michael Hawkins Jr. as QB1 will be the defining moment of Brent Venables’ Oklahoma tenure…

Jalen Milroe will have his Heisman moment against Georgia

People will throw their remotes at their TVs and then sign up for Peacock as the Louisville-Notre Dame game goes down to the wire.

Speaking of The Money Game, Reggie Bush has sued the NCAA, USC and the Pac-12 in an attempt to recoup damages after being denied the right to make money off his name while in college.

Meanwhile, Auburn coach Hugh Freeze keeps saying the wrong things. This time, it’s his assertion that if Auburn and Arkansas played nine more times, Auburn would win nine times. Ari went off on Freeze throwing his quarterbacks under the bus after the Arkansas game. This new statement might set him off more.

There’s also a good, old-fashioned western standoff between two west coast conferences. The Pac-12 grabbed Utah State from the Mountain West, leaving both leagues at seven. Both need to be at eight to be eligible for NCAA basketball tournament shares, so the race is on. Memphis, USF, Tulane and UTSA all said Monday that they intend to stay in the American Athletic Conference.

Next, it’s your Georgia-Alabama preview presented by Prizepicks. Andy and Ari study the Prizepicks squares to decide which will best determine the outcome of the game.

Then it’s time to talk quarterback strategy. Andy wrote a column on Monday suggesting coaches may need to rethink how they handle their QB room management when they have a highly touted youngster and a proven veteran with only one more year of eligibility. Do they need to start paying up to keep the old guy?
