Episode 15: What If? If/Then Scenarios
Summary:
A few years ago, I discovered a new Broadway play musical in it's called if/then. I'll provide a link to the musical down below in case you want to check it out. So, this week's episode is about that potential possibility of if something happens then what? And the what if game can be very powerful. And I wasn't going to do this topic this week, but I've noticed that as I listened to the music again, I've been singing the songs randomly and it brought my attention and awareness back to this potential scenario.
Do you believe in science? This is part of the what if possibility. I do believe in science obviously I've done episodes on Angel numbers and nudges and trusting your inner truth. So I'll share a story about a little bit about my life. What if I had never moved from Minnesota? It wasn't my choice. And I often wonder what if I had stayed.
Would I have discovered my love of travel? Would I have at such a young age felt such loss and grief? And what is the impact of that deep awareness of loss and how has it shaped my life? If I had never left Minnesota, I would have never met the people in New Mexico or the people in Independence OR. Maybe I would have never left that small town in Minnesota. Would I have gone to university in state? Would I still have had an interest in Japan? What I've studied abroad? What if I had never done that, I would have never met all those people! Hopefully you can see that each choice along the journey impacts the next choice and impacts the people in your life then and now.
In this episode, I discuss the what-ifs in our lives and the signs and nudges that encourage us to move in one direction, even though it doesn't make sense. Maybe I'm giving a little bit too much away, but it's never too late to make that next choice and ponder the next what-if!

From Quora, Anita Bonita posted:
That they have either a pragmatic or dogmatic thought process. Usually the ladder. For example scientists use what if questions to form a hypothesis and conduct test. A more nuanced approach may be a form of overthinking, visualizing worse case scenarios, dwelling on the past, or worrying about the future. People who ask or think about what if scenarios are curious individuals. They like to test limits and experiment. This can lead to change for better or worse.
