Great short story

I wish I would have read the description of this closer to see that it was only 44 min long, and not a full book (I was so excited). Wasted a credit on it. But all in all it was a great short story.

Heartbreaking

I’m a Christian and aspire to chaplaincy in the future. This novella was recommended to me and I can see why. It is at once a tremendous introduction to J. Maberry and also a story that really shows the power of life, death, the struggle for both, and the ultimate voice of faith. The choice that follows even after in-death has come.

I was just getting into it and WHAM it's over.

Oh well. I'll read the others... as long as they stay interesting.

Solid start

This is the first short story follow-up to Patient Zero. I loved Patient Zero and I was pleased to see a few story lines closed off in this short story.

A Great Short Story

This is a great short story that relies on you having read the first book in the Joe Ledger series, However, I do not like the narrator, Ray Porter. He is just not right for these Ledger books. His voice for Mr. Church is particularly bad.

Excellent as always

Joe ledger is one bad sun-of-a-gun, and this series is what modern sci-fi should strive to be.
