Epic read

I loved this conclusion to the story. It was a different view of guardians and the continuation of the storyline is fantastic. These characters are very well developed and have great personalities.

Yours, Forever After was one of my favorite audiobooks last year, so suffice it to say that it was going to be a hard act to follow. Now, the second Enchanted Folklore audiobook is out in the wild, and I finally had an opportunity to listen to Yours Everlasting. Let me tell you, it's exceeded every single one of my insanely high expectations! Beth Bolden and Brennan Rossi have teamed up again, and her words and his voice are a match made in M/M fantasy romance auditory heaven! Not only do fans of the first audiobook finally get Evander's, aka Evrard, King of Unicorns, story, but it's such a supremely fantastical one to listen to. Evander and Marcos's epic romance was exactly what I needed while recuperating from an injury. Nothing quite beats having Rossi narrate Bolden's tale of love and war and everything in between to get my mind off of my worries and woes. Dare I hope for more from this author, this narrator, and this series? Throwing it out to the universe with fingers and toes crossed! Five-plus stars for this 2022 favorite listen!

Great story!

I loved listening to this book! I would highly recommend. I enjoyed the narrators too! You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic!

I love Evander (aka Evrard and Rhys) and Marcus' story. They had a difficult road to their HEA so it's exciting when they get it. I like seeing them develop their trust for the other and develop their relationship. I also really like seeing the characters from the first book again. I recommend this book but definitely after reading/ listening to the first book.

Magical!

If you were intrigued by Everard in Yours, Forever After, this story is sure to satisfy. The wise but sarcastic guardian we came to know is an ancient being, banished from his realm in an act of treachery. When a new evil manifests in the human realm, an old colleague resurfaces to aid Evander...but is he trustworthy? Interesting world-building and lush narration make this an enjoyable listen.

Dual Third Person POV

Holy guacamole. Marcos' voice is the best thing I have ever heard and I listen to several audiobooks a week. It is so low and gruff and gravely without that tough guy, alpha male undertone. Like Batman but without Bruce Wayne's nonsense. **shivers while trying not to swoon** Guys, seriously, it's perfect.

The performance of this book is fantastic. I enjoyed the first book but when comparing the two I can't even pretend that I didn't notice the difference. This narrator has obviously become more comfortable with himself and it shows. I've already listened to this book twice and will definitely listen again in the future.

I am a hopeless romantic and this story gives me ALL THE BEST FEELINGS! Marcos and Evander are immortal and not on the best terms (in Evander's mind) but that doesn't stop them from working together when the kingdom needs them. Ohmygod I cannot even express how much I love the slow burn feel of this story even though it's not as dragged out as it could be. Marcos has been in love with Evander for a thousand years. A THOUSAND YEARS and he is still as unwavering in his feelings today as he was a century ago. I am not a fan of pining because my heart can't handle it, but it is such a beautiful thing here. Even though we met Evander in the first book and I really liked him as a father-figure, I absolutely adore him after seeing him through Marcos' eyes. Then we add the trust-building, character development, quest, and conflict to the building romance and it's just an incredibly well-developed fantasy. I especially like how the conflict in this book included the conflict of the last book. I expected it but I did not expect the way it was done which only added to my enjoyment.

This duet is definitely on the top of my Beth Bolden A-list. And Marcos? Well, I loved him when I read the book so it just makes sense that the narration solidified my utter adoration for the sweetest guardian of all time.

Pretty Good

This book is the second in a series. Although this story is very different from the first in the series, I highly recommend reading Yours, Ever After first. I listened to the audible narration with this ebook.

In this sequel, the "unicorn" from the first book is central to the story. Evander is an immortal, shapeshifting, Guardian of Secrets, and we find out why he is living among mortals. One of thirteen Guardians, who overlook the short-lived humans, Evander has been banished for hundreds of years and living on Earth and is bored in his retirement after helping Prince Emory and Prince Graham's quest and could not resist the voice of his past-lover Vanya who entices him to meet him at a Well. He is followed by Marlin, who is actually Marcos the Guardian of War, and who has been secretly watching over Evander for almost his entire banishment. So, Evander and Marcos set off on a quest of their own. They have many adventures and become lovers along the way.

As for the audio, I really enjoyed the narration. I love his deep voice and he voices the characters so believingly. His accents are good and changes characters smoothly. I loved listening to him read this story.

Wrongs made right

I loved this story.
I had loved Princes Gray and Rory in book one, and Evrard, the unicorn who raised Gray made an impression with how particular and fastidious he could be. So it was really a joy reading about his true identity: Evander, the Guardian of Secrets, banned to the human world with only the smallest parts of his powers remaining. This book is the beautiful story of wrongs made right and of a love born thousands of years ago finally being acknowledged and returned.
Beautifully written, full of intrigue and battle, and love and devotion and all things that make a faitytale!

Nice Finale! I enjoyed this series!

I love a good fairy tale, and in this, the audience finally gets Evander's story.

The audience met two versions of him, Evrard, in the previous book Yours, Forever After, but in this book the audience sees the real Evander, the Guardian of Secrets.

This book has betrayal, mystery, hidden danger, good versus evil, and magical battles.

Beth Bolden's book series Enchanted Folklore, has been enjoyable. The audiobook narrator did a great job too.

a really good fantasy tale

This was a really good fantasy tale that I completely enjoyed. The characters and the world they live in was done really well and kept me engaged the whole time. Brennan Rossi’s narration is so easy to listen to and made the book come more alive.
