Just amazing!!!

It’s about time I read a story that is pure love and calming to my soul. First book by the author. Will be looking at her other books. Please check her out!!

Great story and wonderful start to the series

Would you listen to Your Irresistible Love again? Why?

Yes, because I like the story and the narration got better as the story progressed.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sebastian. I love the way he acts, is portrayed, and his description. He is the dream book boyfriend.

Have you listened to any of Kasha Kensington and Aiden Snow ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, I haven't.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed. i think the emotional element was there and at times it was a fun read, but there was also drama and romance.

As with all of my audio book reviews, this will be split into two parts. The story and the narration. Irresistible Love by Layla Hagen is the first book in the Bennett Family Series. Sebastian is under pressure to find someone and get married. It's sort of a family joke, but at the same time, his parents would love to see him settle down...as they would all of his siblings. But he hasn't found anyone and doesn't know if he actually believes in love. Sure his parents found it, but he hasn't. Besides, he's too busy trying to run his business empire. Ava is going to help him make his next launch even bigger, now if she would only stop wanting him. Will they be able to stay away from each other, or will they both learn what it means to love?

Story: 4.5 stars
I liked the characters and the story progression, and I can't wait to read the other books in the series. It has a little bit of everything: romance, humor, emotion, etc. And you will love Sebastian. I kind of want him for myself. Good plot, well written, and enjoyable. 

Narration: 4 stars (overall)
This book had two different narrators. I'll start with Aiden Snow. The narrator seemed to embrace the character and made Sebastian come to life. His intonation was great and while there were a couple of spots he seemed flat, overall, he was great. I could definitely listen to his voice over and over again. The next narration was done by Kasha Kensington. As the story moved on, her narration got better, however, in the beginning I wasn't drawn in. She didn't bring Ava to life for me until several chapters in. Statements sounded like questions and some lines seemed more monotone. However, when she got more into the story, things began to change and improve. 

Overall rating: 4 stars
While I liked the story, I think there were parts of the narration that interrupted the pleasure of listening to this book. That's not to say it wasn't good, overall, it was. I highly recommend this book and the audio book. 4 stars. 

So happy for a new series

This was a really good book. I loved both characters and the development of the side characters that made me want more from the series. I'm always happily surprised when a book with hot bedroom scenes also comes sans drama. It's refreshing.
Definitely recommend this book.

Really enjoyed this book and look forward to the other books in series

This was the first book I've read/listened to by Layla Hagen and now I'm hooked! I'm looking forward to reading more from her. I enjoyed the banter between Sebastian and Ava. Ava was immediately attracted to Sebastian but the clause with her job prevented her from pursuing him. However, he didn't let that stop him! He was attracted to Ava and he wasn't afraid to show it or let her know. He wooed her and took care of her. He was sweet towards her, when that wasn't necessarily in his nature to someone other than family. I enjoyed how he cared for her and wanted to be there for her. He was swoon worthy and this was one of those audiobooks where I didn't want it to end. I enjoyed the ease of their relationship as it developed and how they got under each other's skin. If you're looking for a sweet read, I recommend this one!

Really good at keeping me wondering

Lots of good background and color. I enjoyed the tension and wondering what was going to throw a problem in the works. Enough stream.

Take a pass

I downloaded this for free as part of audible escape. Boy am I glad I didn’t pay for it. The story is very pedestrian. The narrator makes the male voice sound creepy. Definitely not interested in listening to the rest of it.

Not a fan of the female narrator

The story was good but I was not a fan of the female narrator. It made it harder for me to get into the story.

This is Ava and Sebastian’s story. Sebastian will do anything for his family. They want him married but he does not believe in love. Ava just might make him change his mind. She is stubborn, and funny. He can’t get her off his mind. But she’s off limits. One kiss is all it takes for passion to flare. Now they must figure out if they have a future. Ava has an end date at the company but will he want her after the end date? Or is he going to let her go? Or is he going to fight for her so they can have a future?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. The audio book was a smooth listen and I enjoyed the listen. I could keep interested in the story even while listening through the audio book.

I highly recommend this book.

Not enough male narrative

Story was good but it was all female narrated...the most important male parts were spoken by the woman. Not the best to listen to
