Yesterday’s Heroes

Yesterday’s Heroes by Heather Long
Book 0.5 of the Boomers series. Time-traveling super heroes. What fun.
Paranormal romance novella that sets up the series.

The Boomers go back in history to prevent their tragic future. A paradox in probabilities.
Noe questions than answers in this first novella. Did they cause what happens in their future because they’ve gone back to the past?
Interesting twists and gripping storyline. The romance between Rory and Michael is instantaneous and sizzling. Meant to be or disrupting the timeline?

I love a good super hero story. This has all the markings of an explosive series that I want to continue reading.
The narrator is a great job with the emotional changes. The music was surprisingly welcome

This story felt like a bull in a china cabinet.

Everything was so forceful and demanding that it left no room for romance. It felt like the characters meet, he claim, they had sex, no talking, mine. From stalker to lover in less than one day. Then to time travel and not expect any changes but for the fantasy, story was convoluted. I did finish it, but it was low on enjoyment quality unless you like a wham bam thank you ma'am story. And the sex was mediocre at best and felt like it might be the begining of a series. Good thing it was on sale.
