Excellent, thorough guide to Xiu Yang

It goes well with the author’s similarly thorough Qigong videos. Love her take on all these classics. It serves well as prep for more advanced practices.

Simple but profound like clear running water

Healing Qi Gong and Mindfulness woven nicely and narrated by author. I have enjoyed this yogic and qi gong interplay and practical suggestions...refreshing reminders.

Useful and Enjoyable

Mimi did an excellent job in writing this book. She goes in detail that I have not read or heard before. That does not mean that it is not out there but I have not been exposed to it. As far as performance, Mimi has a very nice voice, calming is the best way that I can describe. You can hear in her voice that she knows what she is talking about and not just reading words. Very enjoyable.

I also have the book "Qigong and the Tai Chi Axis" and "Qigong Box Set" DVDs by Mimi and I highly recommend both as well.

Amazing content and narration!

I 100% recommend this book. The content and narration match one another well.

I enjoyed this book as a method of learning and reinforcing concepts of health and well-being that I’m always keen to know more deeply.

A Beautifully Narrated Life Guide

The first Amazon reviewer Libby succinctly captures the essence of this introduction and guide to the concepts and practices of Xiu Yang.

Like Libby I too am a seeker and found both new concepts and familar ideas viewed through the lens and practice of Xiu Yang.

Life challenges us every day and this book is a gentle guide on another way to radiate and create, space, love and harmony in our lives.

Mimi narrates her book which is better than reading it.

As she reads we feel as if she is having a calm, intimate conversation with us; we are in her gentle, loving presence just as when we follow her Tai Chi, QiGong online practices.

Mimis voice radiates love, compassion, balance, kindness...the very traits her audience wish to possess.

Further we learn a little bit more about the lovely Mimi and her own humanity and family, her path to now.

I also enjoyed the thread woven throughout about our deep connection to Nature.

I need all the help I can get along my life journey and Mimi is one of my favorite guides.

I have a large Audible library, it is my major reading method now and a background in voice over, book narration.

Based on that, I can tell you that it is rare for an author to narrate their book well but Mimi's gentle, beautiful, graceful voice is perfect and makes the listening a soothing, interesting, enjoyable experience.

A good narrator lifts the words off the page and transforms the book.

The audio book is probably the better purchase given the content and how Mimi always graces us with her lovely presence in the moments we make space to listen and practice with her. ❤🙏

Powerful wisdom

It was such a gift to have Mimi narrating her book. Her voice, presence and spirit is felt throughout the book and it is clear that the wisdom she shared is one from lived experience. Much gratitude 💜🙏🏽

Gentle wisdom

I’ve followed Mimi for her qigong classes and YouTube for years. I’ve read her book Qigong and the Tai Chi Axis. She shared her wisdom with patience and compassion. I listen to this book over and over because there’s always something more I receive in her message.
