  • German sailor on the Bismarck fighting for your life
  • Double agent in neutral Holland trying to outfox the British and Germans
  • Russian hero sniper - invincible - until the Germans send in the best sniper in the world, and you must outfight him
  • British Ambassador’s Valet peddling Intelligence secrets to the highest bidder
  • Decided to kill Hitler and remove the Nazi party from power
  • Swedish diplomat creating fake passes and distributing them to Jewish refugees
  • American Marine on the first wave invasion in one of the bloodiest and battles of the war
  • On the Enola Gay, B-29 Superfortress, tasked to drop the world’s first atomic.

World at War follows the stories of several men along their journey throughout WW1 and WW2. Walk in the boots of the world’s fighters during long years of slaughter, exhaustion, and the near-collapse of our civilization.

Hear about about a time when many of the world’s mightiest empires were reduced to rubble, millions of people killed, and the foundations of our modern world fractured forever.

Good stories to build interest in casual history fans.

These are simple, and interesting stories for people whom might not be histories buffs and simply want to learn about the war from the perspective of the people in it. You won’t here lots of numbers or dates these are stories of people.

It is clear that this is the goal, the stories are interesting enough to build appreciation while never getting bogged down.

My only gripe is the read mispronounced a lot of stuff. I wish these producers or readers would get just a basic feel for the material before reading. Even edit it in post production. Lots of places and names are mispronounced. Other than that, it’s worth it. If you’re a history but and really versed on the subjects of WW1 and WW2 these stories basically boil down to the telling of a key incident in the first person. You won’t learn anything you don’t already know.
