Good Start
Pretty solid story. I really wanted more from the personalities and the rushed end/resolution at Silo 18 was a disappointment. I was also hoping for a bit more detail of the technology they use and how they go about using/maintaining it. Seems so crucial but I’m left wondering about so much. I’m in for the next one up, though.

A Character Driven Sci-Fi that’s become one of my favorites
I decided to give the book a try after noticing the show advertised on Apple TV. Given I like books more than TV, I decided to listen to it before watching the show. Boy am I glad I did. I couldn’t stop listening and finished the whole book in less than a week. I’ve been hard pressed to find a book/series I like as much as The Expanse, but I think this is it. The premise is extremely interesting but it’s the way that Howey develops his characters that had me captivated. Can’t wait to read the next book!

Intriguing dystopia that had me imagining many different endings as each chapter unfolded. I can’t say that I was completely happy with the ending, but I’ll accept it knowing that there is a book 2 and a book 3. Overall it kept me and I awakened, ready to listen again to know what was coming next

Loved it
So glad I stumbled across this one, it was great. I haven’t watched the show yet, but I will now even though I know the book is ALWAYS better. Looking forward to listening to the next book as well. I really enjoyed this narrator. He was engaging and made it easy to tell which characters were speaking without over doing it. Definitely worth the credit.
