Acerca de esta escucha

A Dangerous Duo. A Deadly Path Home.

Nothing in this world is more dangerous than a witch. The epitome of fear and terror, they can summon floods on a whim, conjure balls of fire out of the air, or even destroy entire countries overnight. Incur their wrath, and no one is safe. At least, that's what everyone thinks, and it's the very reason they all want Siasha dead. After yet another violent battle for her life, she teams up with Zig, a mercenary, and they depart for unknown lands to find somewhere she can live in peace. But is the pair any match for the lost magic and vicious monstrosities that lie ahead?

I was reading the manga and found out there was an audio book for the LN. Good plot and good characters. Can't wait for the next one

Great Read

This had an interesting premis and lead characters, but it sadly turned into a fairly standard Adventurer / Monster Slaying book. The unique origins of the two lead characters carried the story, but the story never really went anywhere on its own. I guess it felt more like a slice of life in a way, but those usually involve deep interactions with other characters but this book was missing that too. Any "bad guy" who was in opposition to the male lead was always a cheesy cardboard cutout of a bad guy, which left me more annoyed than anything.

With all that said, I think this has potential as a series as long as the author quickly figures out what he wants to do with his two cool characters. It was definitely better than I'm probably making it sound like it is, and I would check out the next book in the series if/when it is released. If you like fantasy, adventurer, monster hunting type books then definitely give this one a try. It is worth it just to see it from the perspective of two unique characters. Also, bravo for not making this an Isekai.

Interesting Premis, But That Is All
