It's the summer before senior year of high school. It's supposed to be one of the biggest summers of her life, but Pippa is headed to an art program she has no interest in. If you could sum up Wish You Were Italian in three words, what would they be?
Magical, Special & Entertaining
What was one of the most memorable moments of Wish You Were Italian?
There are many in this book. From how the author describes Italy, the relationship of the main character with her family and friends. The surprise ending!
What does Sandy Rustin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The way she narrates the story makes you want to come back to it if you put the story down for a seconds. It makes you think you are there with the characters.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I didn't in the sense that I didn't want it to end, I was so engaged in the story and wondering how the love story would end. This is a TEEN book but it was just what I was looking for.
A bit of eat pray love in a TEEN novel.
