It isn't long before Brogan's quest takes him out of the city and deeper into the territory, where a beautiful but dangerous woman takes a keen interest in him. Can he survive encounters with the nomadic tribes that roam the Outzone's mountains and plains to finally confront the men who murdered his family?

fantastic!

this is a great book! very different take on the end of the world senario -I couldn't stop listening until it was done -come on book 2!

fast-paced and exciting!

This was a rare gem; I was offered this title free in exchange for a review and I'll admit it was the cover that caught my attention. The story being great and the narration being pretty great was an added bonus.

I love dystopian fiction and I love thriller, action, adventure (for more audiobooks like this, you can see my reviews on my website, thelifeandlies.com) It didn't take long for me to get into this story, and it kept me intrigued the whole time.

Frank Brogan wants revenge, don't get in his way!!

After a global war devastates the world, Frank Brogan lives within the safety of New Haven. When his family is killed on a trip in the out zone, Brogan goes after revenge. Leaving the safety of New Haven he ventures outside to the lawless zone to track the three killers down. This is a good story and the start of what promises to be a good series.

Kevin Pierce delivers a very good performance, as usual, and keeps the story moving a long nicely.

Author and narrator outstanding.
As normal neither disappoints.
Ready for the second book to be picked up by audible.

It started out a little slow, however from there on it rocked. And of course Kevin Pierce makes it incredible.

Can't wait for book 2

Loved it from the beginning!

First off, I am a huge fan of this narrator. Winter's Edge was the 20th book I have listened to Kevin Pierce narrate and as usual, he delivered.

This story was great, wasn't too far fetched like alot of stories in this genre, but definitely kept me interested. Can't wait for the follow up book!

kind of wild west (in a really good way if you dig it) story.
its fun, its well narrated and ill check out Grayfall ASAP.

loved it

I really liked the characters, the environments created, and the plot. Now I know this is not a solo novel however I'm disappointed I can not find any other books in this series as audiobooks.

No Drifting - Just hunting

They killed his family now he is hunting them. Harsh land and even meaner people. Kind of reminds me of another series that I can't place but kept my interest. Loner looking for revenge and redemption - biker Indian gang and a few friends looking for a place to call home. Will get the next book to see what happens.
