The person who was made for me turned up at the New Year's Eve party I didn't want to go to. We've been serendipitously thrown together a handful of times since and though I know Zak wants me, he keeps walking out my door and refusing to call.

Against protocol and my best intentions, I fell in love with the key witness I was assigned to protect. I know. Rookie move, Jamie. I guess I’m just a soft touch for beautiful, scared men who hide behind prickly sass and razor-sharp snark. With a little kindness and a lot of patience, I got to know the generous, caring man underneath all those barbs. But it took everything I had to keep things professional.

Omg!! this story
Best of the series. this is my favorite book of the series. the Insta love between a hockey player and a homeless guy that shows up time after time. This is love right here in this story. so sweet, so beautiful. definitely the best of the series.

NOT WORTH THE CREDIT
Thin stupid story that will make you question the life choices that led you to buy. DO NOT be fooled by the preview. DO NOT be misled if you liked the author’s previous book Shiver. This should have been a free bonus track that was resolved in 1-3 chapters, but is stretched to 36 chapters to call it a book. Save yourself.
