OMG. WHAT A LOVE STORY.

First off this book is a slow burn. I almost gave up but since I like Emily’s writing I didn’t. Thank goodness. It was so worth it.
This story packs a lot of emotional baggage. A lot of angst. A lot of anger. A lot of sadness. Two broken individuals who meet in the middle of no where but unknowing that they are exactly where they need to be and to be together.
The healing and love that ensures is a beautiful story. A story worth giving the time to read or listen to.
Emily had written another beautiful story and Tor narrated perfectly.
It’s too bad there isn’t a second book. Silas and Bear are beautiful souls and I just need more of them.

I’m still listening to this and I can’t stop it’s awesome. This author ticked all the boxes and then some. Narrators did a great job.

the narration was ah-may-zing!

Diontae, especially, was absolutely stellar. it was a good story, if a bit annoying at times but, I loved it. the narration definitely made the story better and feel more real

Interesting take on the Omegaverse trope

This was a sad story with a happy ending and an interesting take on the mpreg / Omegaverse trope. With out spoiling anything I will say there was a part near the end that I really didn't like but it wasn't enough to ruin the book for me. I was scared going in about a 12+ hour MM Omegaverse but once it was over I felt like it was the right length to wrap up the story in a satisfying way. I don't remember if there were trigger warnings, so for give this next part if there were and I forgot. The book talks about abuse quite a lot, physical, mental, and sexual abuse readers / listeners should be aware.

Such a beautiful story!

I really loved this story! Bear is absolutely amazing in how he loved and showed up for Silas.

The voice actor for Silas did such a great job but I didn’t care much for Bear’s actor. It sounded flat most times.

I don’t think Emily Wrath could write a book I don’t absolutely adore. I love omegaverses and when I saw one of my fav authors wrote one I was ecstatic. I devoured this book. Just enough action and angst to keep it interesting but without being too stressful. I highly recommend the book and loved the narration!

Beautiful story of finding love and peace

Slow burn omegaverse with a beautiful story of healing, Diontae Black did such an incredible job as Silas.

Hurt/comfort A/O on steroids.

This is much more substantive than many A/O stories. Not an instalove story and it’s a rough story at times. It should be called “Trauma & Patience” because the title makes it sound a lot more sexy fun than it is. But it’s compelling and would be good for anyone who likes A/0 books or hurt comfort stories.

Awesome story:

This book has it all, love, survival, pain, trauma, humor, loyalty and 🔥. The fire may not have till the last few hours but it was bomb. The narrators were the bomb. The action was on point and last stand. Don't let the start of the book fool you, it's worth it.
