Such An Emotional incredible Book

The story is so wonderful, so sad, so heartbreaking and so happy. Absolutely loved it

There’s seriously beautiful emotions here

You will laugh. You will cry. You will love this book. This book is filled with some of the very best characters I’ve read in a long time. It’s a story filed with Broken people and how they are mended. You will feel Bennett, Nora and especially Summer in your heart for a very long time. Great performances by the narrators. Precious beautiful book.

Damn you Max and Monroe

I sat there thinking that this was going to be another light-hearted happy-go-lucky wonderfully comedic novel, but here I am crying in the corner of the clurb, deep in my feelings, contemplating all my life's decisions and running to go squeeze my daughter little or a lot harder than normal. and now I'm staring at her heart-shaped sunglasses with both love and sadness. somebody please give me a drink

I cried until I felt like me again

I have listened to and read many many Max Monroe books, this one cut me to the core. I sobbed in my car. These people in a small Vermont town became my friends and my family within the first few chapters. I felt happy for their happiness, I felt their pain and I cried tears of joy and deep deep sorrow. I allowed myself to cry until I felt like me again. In the dark winter nights of New England thank you for giving me a Summer I will never forget.

Max and Monroe outdid themselves in this book. Brilliant writing and excellent narration that truly brings this story to life in every way possible.
