After photographing over 1000 weddings as a photographer, I've learned a few things. I've learned things that have helped me book 70 weddings per season consistently. I've learned things that have helped me travel to every continent, including Antarctica. I also managed to do it all while being incredibly introverted and shy. Throughout this audiobook, I will share what I've done to go from a struggling server at an Outback Steakhouse in Canada to someone who has created a full-time business in wedding photography. I'll also share my secrets for creating a full-time business that doesn't take over your life. For me, I value time freedom the most. Of course, Saturdays are for weddings, but you can customize the rest of your week.

To define time freedom, it is being in control of when and where you work. Want to spend a few days at the cottage? No problem, you don't have to ask anyone for time off. Saw a cheap last-minute vacation package to a Caribbean island? Go for it, and answer your emails from the pool. Running your own business makes your life incredibly customizable and fun.

The financial side is also good. If you're averaging $3000 to $4000 per wedding and photographing 60 weddings, your business makes $210,000 annually. Not bad for a job that also comes with time freedom and flexibility. With all of this said, not everything has been perfect along the way. My hope with this book is that I can save you some of those struggles I went through. Whether you're year zero into business or already photographing busy seasons, there will be something in this book for you.

Learn what many don’t talk about the wedding industry!

I have been a photographer for over 10+ years and I can still remember watching the many tutorials and camera reviews from Taylor Jackson on YouTube channel. I came to listen to this book for more inspiration and insights into the wedding market. I made my switch to go full time two years ago and saw a big leap in sales. Com January and I have a lot of spare time. I’m using this time to sharpen my business skills and this book is immensely helpful.

The key takeaways for me include the first chapter on social status and the thought process couples go to hire the perfect photographer. I also took away his content strategy if he was to start from scratch. I’m going to go ahead and start doing that this week. Lastly, his thoughts on video offerings.

I highly recommend this to anyone who is currently considering making the jump to full time wedding photography! Jackson touches points that are rare to hear about in the wedding industry and you’ll get a great insight into the steps you need to stand out amongst many. Today is the best time to be a wedding photographer.

I think after listening to a great amount of books on business and communication. This is a great book if you are interested in listening it worth your time.

After being a photographer for 19 years its easy to see how priceless Taylor’s word’s actually are.
I’ve lived and worked successfully through countless market changes. Having a working guide to help base your business direction is an incredible tool for any photographer. If it’s your first year stepping into the industry or your 19th like me, use Taylor’s experiences and successes to make your business just that much better.

Pretty good and honest overview

Lots of good info here! Basically a run through if everything important he could think of that matters for wedding photography. Good book and recommend you get it. Just don't expect anything mind blowing or surprising.

Concise and informative

Meat and potatoes, that’s all you need. Great listen. Hope he does another book eventually.
