Inspirational and engaging!
“We Don’t Need Permission” is a truly timely and essential read(listen). Covering the historic context and evolution of Black entrepreneurship in the US and UK, Collins keeps you engaged and interested with every chapter. He also includes a variety of stories of the founders behind successful entities that are now household names from Amazon to Google, from Barry Gordy to John Johnson as well as examples from a variety of industries from airlines to entertainment.
Encouraging Black entrepreneurs to “let go of small and think global,” Collins provides his own experiences to bring to life to the book’s key lessons. This is ultimately a book about liberation. An inspirational playbook of timeless advice for entrepreneurs, a roadmap for anyone aspiring to become an entrepreneur, and great advice for any professional wanting to get unstuck and discover a path foward. “We Don’t Need Permission” is truly the clarion call that our community has needed.

LOVE! Intimate storytelling and powerfully encouraging!
This audio book is so well done! Feels like your siting down with a very successful friend/mentor listening to them share key intimate details about their life, success and insights on how to step boldly into your life & business visions. Eric’s voice is also deep and soothing. This book will definitely empower and encourage you to stop looking for permission in life and business and believe in yourself! Inspiring read!
