Required reading for entrepreneurs

I highly recommend this book, but not because Nathalie is a good friend and not because I'm mentioned. I recommend this book because it is not only well researched, insightful and unconventional, but it is also engaging, relatable and inspiring. It should be required reading for aspiring and current entrepreneurs.

Outcomes over Optics

So many good hacks for early-stage entrepreneurs. I'm fond of the DIY Business School method and also, taking advantage of white-label solutions. Was talking about white-labeling the other day and wasn't sure if it was a good idea. I'm glad that was mentioned. The whole book is great and to hear it in the author's voice is key! Now we need a post-Covid follow up.

Finally a book on women’s entrepreneurship for people like me!

So grateful for this book. Wow! Having grown up the oldest of six to a roofer in Iowa, it’s been disappointing and depressing to read startup advice for people (even women entrepreneurs do this) who went to Ivy League schools and come from or are married to money. Or worse, when these folks assume that people like me can achieve the same outcomes through the same process, because everyone in their bubble has been able to. It’s not real. But this book is! Straight talk from a woman who gets it, and has found alternatives for women like me. One million thank you’s! If you’re a female entrepreneur and you weren’t born with a silver spoon in hand, get this book. And get another for your girl!
