major cliffhanger

beginning was as expected... ending was biggest cliffhanger ever... not reading another one... until the series is complete

Horror Detour

The story takes an interesting turn and becomes more of a horror story. This will probably not be a book for everyone due to how gruesome it is. Personally, I liked it and look forward to the next one.

Best of the 3 Children D'Hara novellas so far.

Now, this one finally reads like a Sword of Truth tale. The first 2 are excellent, but this is better. Don't like the cliff-hanger, but Witches Oath will resolve that. Hope it is published soon, & at a reasonable price . . .

Extremely Vivid Storytelling

Richard will have the most devastaingly gorgeous and violently profound response to the Witch Man.

Recording Volume

The only issue I had with the audio recording was the volume level. it was way too low. With my device audio turned all the way up, I had to have my speaker volume turned up much higher than any other audio book in this series. 60 is max on my Bluetooth speaker and I had to play this one at 55, where all others in the series were played at 32.

It’s a great story but man do you have to leave us with a cliffhanger like that? I can’t wait for the next book.
