Very enjoyable

Very enjoyable short story with a HEA. I love this series about sassy and wayward women.

Engaging till the end

I love the story and it kept me engaged till the end. The narrators accent made it a bit difficult to enjoy but by the end I was able to get around the performance. I would suggest this book to others.

I love the story. It was very entertaining and it had drama and suppence. I was a love story . I would recommend this story.

Like this one. It helped me make it through a long day of dr appts and other errands. As always my favorite part of this series is the narrator. She brings the story to life.

Voyage with a Viscount is funny, steamy and a bit over the top at times. While you don’t need to read the other books in this series I recommend doing so in order to appreciate some of the side characters, especially Marooned with a Marquis. As I listened to this book I was picking up on patterns from other books in this series but then Emily E. K. Murdoch adds some drama and flair to what could have easily been the same story but different book.

Rash decisions can lead to love

Another quick read and I enjoyed it. There was an instant attraction between Rowena and James, even though they were not entirely truthful with each other. I had a couple giggles and a couple moments of anticipation. I have been enjoying this series.

Julia Eve does a good job in the audiobook version to bring these characters to life. I missed some things in the reading that I caught in the audio. It was as good the second time around.

Emily Murdoch gives me everything I want and love in this regency romance! Narration from Julia Eve is excellent!

A Voyage to Remember!

Another beautiful story by Emily Murdoch in her Ravishing Regencies series.
This one is also a stand-alone and it is about James and Rowena/Rebecca and how they fell in love while on a carriage trip and what happens after that.
It has a good theme, strong characters, twists and turns, some good chuckles and a bit of 'heat,' all of this making it a jolly good read which I am happy to recommend.
I originally read an Advance Reader Copy of the ebook and have now listened to this entertaining audiobook narrated by Julia Eve which I also loved - my review above is voluntary and unbiased.

A Failed Elopement and a Carriage Ride

This was the first book I listened to in this series and don't think I missed much by picking this up in the middle of the series. Rowena was going to elope, but changed her mind in the 11th hour. Now she is far from home and looking for a way home. James is a Viscount who is bored with life and offers Rowena a ride in his carriage to provide him with a diversion. Neither gives the other their true name. There is a strong attraction and then everything that could go wrong on the journey home went wrong.
Fun and steamy book. I wasn't sure I was going to like the narration at the beginning of the story, but Julia Eve grew on me as the story progressed.
