it was a good book...

The narrator didnt anoy me, the plot was well developed, the characters were not one deminsional...... it is worth the credit.

Fantastic, really enjoyed it

Strong likeable characters, despicable villain and believable storyline without angst and contrived misunderstandings, for me, it was a perfect romance.

Loved this book!

This was a wonderful story with great characters. Jillian, the heroine, survived abuse from her vile husband and looked forward to becoming an independent widow after he was reported drowned. She had a
close friendship with Case, brother to our hero, Justin. Justin and Jillian’s romance wasn’t instant and I liked the fact this wasn’t Maya Banks usual erotic romance. As usual, Tim Campbell’s narration was perfectly wonderful. Thank you both for several enjoyable listening hours.

not that bad, the narrator made the experience better and I would have liked more steaminess. over all it was a good story. I liked that the Mc's threw priority to the devil. to be with each other. and that was my favorite part

Hating the husband

I love books, but going to College, and working I can't. so isting to books is the next best thing. I loved the whole story, the characters, and the plot.

Her marriage was arranged and it was horrible. For six months she endured unimaginable pain and humiliation from his hands. He only wanted her for her dowry. So when he left on board a ship and was lost at sea she was free. But her actions within the Ton were legendary. Her escapades fodder for gossip. She caught the eye of one such person out to protect his brother from her clutches. But when he finds out the image was not the truth he is honor bound to protect her at all costs. And when evil comes for her, he must make a life decision that could cost him his family lands. I enjoyed listening to this story.

Such a well deserved HEA

Very important that readers check the trigger warnings before reading. I completely appreciate this is not the right book for anyone looking for an escape from the harsh reality of the real world but for those willing and able to dive in this book delivers on spades. A MMC willing to give up everything for love, a FMC with an indeterminable strength of spirit that is tested repeatedly and she triumphs makes for a beautiful love story. My only disappointment is that I so appreciated Case and Hawk and wish that I was going to get their stories

VERY GOOD

Enjoyed this book very much. The only thing I had reservations on was how quickly the sexually abused wife got involved with the next relationship & how during those intimate times he pressed on when she objected. I didn’t think that was realistic of an abused woman being so eager to proceed….just a thought.
