What did you love best about Vanna Bonta Talks About Quantum Fiction?

I loved that the talk seems that it will be over my head, but in fact, I can understand. The author is very eloquent in explaining what this is and no one will leave dumbfounded.

Inspiring to Writers

Vanna Bonta is of the most interesting authors and poets of our times. I don't always get curious about an author of books I love unless the book has a profound effect on me in some way, but sometimes when authors speak there is an arrogance or condescending attitude that is off-putting. Bonta has neither. It's striking how genuine she is and almost vulnerable yet she shares remarkably original brilliance. The interviewer asks good questions and Bonta's answers are illuminating. I feel like I should pay for this interview because it's an invaluable visit with that magic that only real writers and poets command. I mostly find it in visits with old recordings with my favorites. I was enriched listening to this, particularly after appreciating the master storytelling of Bonta's tour de force Flight (a quantum fiction novel). This interview revealed some of the author's thought processes, techniques, use of literary devices, and other artistic regimens. I should also add that the author has a lovely voice that is perfect for audio so the interview was a genuine pleasure to listen to.

I found this very entertaining

Vanna Bonta is one of the most authentic, innovative, original and evocative writers. The work, ideas and ground breaking life is signature in her literary work and awards. While many writers are stifled in boxes from which they write, Bonta stands up to live. Who knew the novel Flight would, ten years later, end up featured on History Channel in a landmark episode, 'Sex in Space' to colonizing other worlds? Cream rises to the top like zero gravity. Reviews are always divided with original genius, just one more sign this is an unforgettable author, a true poet.

?Fiction or reality?

Quantum Fiction genre description is pretty well done in this interview. I guess it is time to have new genre Quantum Fiction instead of much broader Science Fiction, like music genres. We've been enjoying so many videos, movies, books utilizing quantum behavior after Flight by Vanna Bonta, such as What The Bleep, Secret and many more..

Deeply insightful

Would you consider the audio edition of Vanna Bonta Talks About Quantum Fiction to be better than the print version?

I'd prefer the audio version, mainly because of Vanna Bonta's exceptional talent in bringing to life--through her voice--her characters. the audio version is also perfect when you're lounging on the couch and you just want to "listen" to a story instead of reading it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I can't say there's a single character that should be set apart from the rest--I love how Bonta has painstakingly developed each of the characters--Mendle and Aira are foremost examples--so that the whole story is enjoyed as a whole. The characters complement one another in such a way that the story is even more alive and compelling.

Which character – as performed by the narrator – was your favorite?

That would be Aira Flight, of course--the narrator succeeds in conveying a sense of "tabula rasa" through her voice--need I mention that Bonta, after all, is a talented voice actor.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

'Flight' is too rich to be finished in one sitting--it is more the kind of book you'd like to enjoy in several installments, if only to prolong the experience as much as possible.

This was a very nice interview. I thought it was well done. The author proved that she had spent a lot of time thinking about her story and how to put it together. When talking about her characters and what each of them represent, I found her depth of knowledge fascinating. During the interview, she talked about reality and how our minds determine our reality.. But she also explained that sometimes we are creating our reality and yet there are times when our reality creates us, which is the premise of her book Flight. It's interesting listening to how an author got an idea for novels, especially works that end up being iconic.Insight into literary history and science. The interview itself was well-done and seemed to have been casual. Not once did he author seem nervous. I liked the conversational style. Mostly, I just like learning how author’s get their ideas and run with it. Very easy to listen to and follow.
