About this listen

I wanted a family with Cash.

We had dreams - building a house, kids, a dog, and, yes, even the white picket fence.

I don’t remember anything about my husband. Not the wedding or the vows we shared. The past 10 years were erased, but with time, they’re supposed to come back.

But what if this isn’t your typical case of amnesia?

What if I’m not supposed to remember?

What if I was meant to forget?

Maybe I don’t want my old life back.

Because if the accident hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t have uncovered the truth.

Losing my memory wasn’t tragic.

Losing my memory was fate.

Until we are gone

Until we are gone. Narration was spot on. The heartache is so hard to get through. I was surprised a few times. Didn’t end the way I thought it would. I wanted a HEA which I suppose it was, not the one I had hoped for. I received this audible in exchange for my honest review.

Great Suspenseful Romance! Great Audible Listen🎧

“Until We are Gone” is a terrific & suspenseful story that kept me on the edge of my seat. The storylines were interesting and captured my attention right away and held it to the end. The characters were developed nicely. The author had me thinking, coming up with different scenarios in my mind of what was really going on and what was the deal with each character.. My thoughts were all over the place and while some became clearer as the story went on most of my guesses missed the mark. Bravo Gia Riley well played! Thank you for this great story.

I listened to the Audible edition, narrated by the talented Sarah Puckett. She is an awesome voice performer and storyteller. She brought each character to life, giving them their own unique sound making it easy to follow who was speaking at the time. She set the perfect tone for the story and added the right amount of dramatic flair enhancing an already great story to the next level. Thank you for another great listen.

Wow! What a story!

With twists and turns that left me scrambling for the rewind button on a few ocassions, Gia Riley brings us a story that is intense and deeply emotional. From the very start, as we hear Meadow's voice, we are thrown into a richly described situation of confusion and fear. The loss of most of our anchors created by our memories, is horrific in itself, but, for Meadow, there is more loss within this. Cash's decisions reverberate through the story and hearing the story through different perspectives, adds further to this intense mystery. This story of conflict and struggle, depression, addiction, love and pain, is masterfully narrated by Sarah Puckett as she captures and retells the tale with confidence and sensitivity.

All that Drama

I had so much companion for Cash this entire book. I wanted him to move on so many times but I'm glad that he stuck it through for the long hall. This was a great book but it took me through a emotional roll-a-coaster.

Love Sarah Puckett!!!!

I liked it

Taking nothing away from Sarah Puckett, who did an excellent job...I really wish this was at least dual narration. 3 would've been perfect...but at least dual.

I liked the unique story and the twists and turns. Book keeps you guessing almost all the way through. That said, I felt the ending was rather anti-climactic...even though mostly the fun was getting there. I'll check out more of this author.

Until We Are Gone

This was an interesting book. Meadow was in a terrible accident. When she regains consciousness, she has no memory of her life! Her husband, Cash takes her home and tries to help her regain her memory. Nothing he’s tries helps, and Meadow spirals down and begins to drink heavily! This is a story that has no easy answers! There’s a reason why she can’t remember, and it’s not necessarily a medical issue. We watch Meadow and Cash struggle. Meadow gets so bad that she must be put in a rehab facility to avoid jail. The story become more complicated. There several things don’t add up, and we find that there are more things happening than we know. The characters were not likable many times, but you felt sympathy for all involved. I enjoyed the book, but I felt that there was not an adequate explanation for one important aspect of the story.

Emotional, suspenseful romance

A very emotional, suspenseful romance! I kept wondering where this story was going especially when she started having certain dreams. I had my ideas but never could quite figure out where it was heading. Very good read! The narrator did a great job! My first read by this author and I look forward to reading more of her books!

Couldn’t stop listening

Until We Are Gone, by Gia Riley really threw me for a loop. I thought I had the story all figured out, Meadow an amnesia victim, her loving husband Cash only wanting what’s best. Her friend Teddie trying to keep an eye so Meadow doesn’t do anything harmful to herself, but keeping a safe distance So as not to alarm. It all made sense, the albums, the many things Cash did, including the eventual hospitalization, so Meadow could finally get the help she so desperately needed.
Till Meadow started dreaming of another not Cash, and the dreams were not ordinary. The premise of the dreams and the meeting of the man on which her dreams are based, then we find how Cash duped her. What a conclusion for a well written story. Thank you Gia Riley and Audio book boom for this book, for a fair and honest review. Also I would like to mention the narrator Sarah Puckett for a job well done.

Fall in love again...Until We Are Gone.

I had a truly surreal experience listening to Until We Are Gone. I originally read the ebook almost 2 years ago. (More then 800 books ago). I remembered reading it. I remembered being suspicious because yhe last book from the author left me in a tailspin but for the life of me I couldn't remember the story. i had a Meadow moment. I read my previous review. I went through PMs I sent to the author. I couldn’t find real clues to the book I had read. I had pictures/svreenshots and no recollection of what transpired. It was eerie. And then Sarah Puckett with her hauntingly raspy voice that made Meadow seem like a ghost gave me chills. I had a whole new vibe coming from this lost woman. I didn't have any recollections just tingles...until him.

It seems he is the catalyst I needed to remember bits and pieces. But still, I couldn't reform those connections. I was left to put them together as Meadow does.

Gia Riley and Sarah Puckett put me on edge. I was dangling from a ledge with deja vu the entire time.

I thoroughly enjoyed this "reread." It gave me a change to feel it all over again, to be confused, to be upset, to crave...to love.

Fall in love again...Until We Are Gone.
