Another exciting book in this series!

What another exciting book for this series! I love to catching back up with Fiona and Domhnall. I saw a bit of them in a previous book. I enjoyed how they each felt that they were giving their all but yet the other thought they weren’t sharing enough of their past. Seeing her family was a delight. I enjoyed how the Author snuck those crazy relations in throughout the story. Not only do we get to see the most recent McTaggart’s but we also get to see some from the beginning of the series. I can’t say enough good things about those highland games!

Shane East and Marian Hussey did a wonderful job narrating. Especially Mr. East in pulling up all those older characters voices again.

Loving these hot Scots!

Oh boy, Fiona and Domhnall can't catch a break! Lots of fighting and doing naughty things. Yet still, they both have a hard time sharing their deepest secrets and feelings. The love and spark is still there for sure. Lots of obstacles put into their way and of course their meddling family tries to help. It makes for some funny situations. Always a good time revisiting my favorite hot scots!
Marian Hussey and Shane East are always fun to listen to when they narrate Anna's characters. So good!

Domhnall & Fiona!

How fun is this? Not only do I get a new story featuring Domhnall and Fiona, but Anna Durand brings back so many MacTaggarts, I was in heaven! Fiona and Domhnall are a combustible couple. On the verge of breaking up, their on again, off again relationship is teetering on the edge. But this time is different. Domhnall has no intention of letting her go. Fiona wants him to open up about his past. Without true honesty, they can't go forward, right? Will her stubbornness get this hard headed man to delve into his past and let her in? Well, I was all in with this one. I needed to know how he was going to win her over, and if she would open her heart to his pain and love. With the All American Wives Club behind him, he was in good hands. I loved it!

And creating the mood I had Shane East and Marian Hussey telling me the story. East is phenomenal when it comes to the Scottish accent. He falls into Domhnall with such ease, the alpha male, closed mouth man and he adds that teddy bear heart making him irresistible. Hussy keeps Fiona strong, with her ideals in tact, and her obstinate nature on the outside, but with her feelings for Domhnall simmering on the inside. These two nailed all of the characters and made for hours of enjoyment.
