A quick mystery ...

Which character – as performed by R.C. Bray – was your favorite?

I enjoyed the 2 female detectives. Their differences were conveyed well in the narrations. Also Mr. Bray made this short story even more interesting with his narration.

Any additional comments?

Unlawful Greed: A Short Story is a short (less than 1 hour) story of a murder. In this story we meet 3 suspects who all have 'reason to murder' the victim. Thru clever detective work, the killer is apprehended.

As mentioned above this is a very short story. I thought the plot moved well and the ending was good, not contrived or coming out of left field. Mr. Bray has a great voice for mysteries and I can't wait to listen to another book read by him.

Entertaining listen

Narrator R.C. Bray, as usual, is excellent. My first book by Pamela Samuels Young will not be my last. I wanted to get a grasp on Young's writing and for a couple of dollars, it was well worth the 50-minute listen. Highly recommended.

Pamela Samuels Young does it again!

The story is exactly what I expected from Ms. Young. She's an awesome writer. The narrowest or always does an exceptional job. As far as the story goes, it left me smiling and shaking my head. For the people who are so greedy, this is what happens.
I love the short story and am looking for he next one - hopefully a novel. I've listened to all of her others and was very pleased by the story and ending. Great job!

Greed is tough to swallow...

This was a very short story but it was enjoyable. The author Pamela Samuels Young did a great job with this story. I've never read/listened to any of this author's stories before, until now but it was a well written short story. The story is basically about an upstanding L.A. lawyer who's found dead in his office. He's been married one to many times, also has been taking care of his son who's plenty old enough to take care of himself, and his partner in the law firm find themselves as suspects. But when it comes to money and love you sometimes end up crushing yourself. Its a fast paced story with not many clues. Do the two female detectives find the killer?

The narrator R.C. Bray did a fantastic job with holding my attention. R.C. kept the story flowing very nice. The narrator did a really good job with distinguishing the accents of each character. This isn't my normal genre but even so, I thought it to be well written and the performance of the narrator was enjoyable. I will definitely check out other stories that both the author has written and the narrator has done. If you're looking for a fast paced murder mystery then look no further because this one is it. I received this audio in exchange for an honest review.

Ain’t life grand!

We are never satisfied with what we have. When that happens Karma always slaps us back to reality. Don’t use a credit, isn’t long enough, but do buy it. You will really have a good listen. (Smile)
