Rocking Chair

Good for a rocking chair read in front on of a fire, with a cat in your lap. Only a couple of "huhs" in the text this go around, for which I am greatly thankful. I am looking forward to the next set of three!

Fun Listen

Every moody woman needs a man like Quinn. Also, they have fun and solve mysteries together. Go, Rowan! Off to number 7.

MUSH

Even my wife who loves Cozy Mysteries almost gauged over the continuous dribble about how cute and lovey dovey they were together. that's okay for the first book to develop the story but when at least half of the 6th book still reeks of it time for the author to get a more developed plot. i guess he/she could not think of enough words to fill the requirements of the publisher six times..... don't waste your money.

Plot twists abound

One of the things I enjoy about Rowan is her humor and strength. But her character seems to have turned into a whiny, selfish, shrinking violet. The witty banter is largely missing. Quinn, who seemed like a great boyfriend, is alternately supportively patient and condescendingly patronizing.
