About this listen

In the depths of the underwater waits the unknown.

Bradley and Tag are eager to come home for a long-awaited summer break. It’s been a long semester. Some unwinding is necessary. Also they both need to have some fun.

What’s more fun than staging a hoax UFO encounter video on Tag’s yacht? Nothing, according to Tag. If Bradley had reservations about that silly idea, he forgets all about them, because Tag invited Danny and Veronica to star in their video. Tag always liked Veronica. And Bradley always liked Danny. It’s a match!

During the filming though, the group discovers a presence of something unexpected under the yacht, in the deep dark waters near their coastal home town.

3.5 Stars

I like the concept and the story line. It was about 4 young adult that are drawn to a mysterious place in the water after trying to make a project work in the same area. Theirs really not much romance if that’s what your looking for. And it is a HEA, but still many questions left at the end. 🤷‍♀️
The narrative was alright.

Faith, hope, love and UFOS. How exciting!

Bradley and Cooper head home for a college break with a video project on their mind. With the help of two friends, Veronica and Danny, they head out to the bay to create the UFO story. What they find is much more than they were ever prepared for. During all the upheaval Cooper and Veronica, as well as Bradley and Danny form a seriously strong relationship despite the challenges they face. I was surprised and excited with this whole story and I will listen to this book again.

Teen UFO story

This is a clean teenage story with 2 gay characters. It moved a little slow without any explanation for the science fiction aspect. There were some redundant phrases such as mansion house and prom dance. The reader did a decent job, his female voices were a little odd.

How to start your Holiday

Perie Wolford and Maxwell Palmer did good job in taking you on a holiday adventure. Some Mystery, Sci-Fi and even Romance is always a nice thing to have on a holiday. Maybe for Young Adults but think most people will find it enjoyable. Can be a bit confusing in the start when the POV switches, but quickly acclimated to flow.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

LOVE CAN BRING PEOPLE BACK FROM FAR AWAY – ANOTHER

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review

AUDIO = 3.5/STORY = 4

A very well written story of a UFO that has been taking people for over fifty years and the disappearances being written off as drownings without the bodies being recovered. Bradley returns to town after spending a year away at college with his friend Cooper. They plan on making a UFO video for school, only to find out that aliens were in the sea near their hometown. I was happy to see that the aliens were peaceful and only lured the people who wanted to join them.

The narration was good. The inflections were not the best when different people were introduced.

Under alien tech

I found the story to be very interesting. I liked the concept of having and encounter with the unknown being positive.
the characters were believable and were well defined. Maxwell's telling the story was a little flat. In the beginning of the story, he didn't have any influx-ion with his voice with the characters. But after listening to the story for a little while I got into the tale.

Well, this was cute :P

Teens being teens while finding love, mysterious lights, 50 years worth of missing people and a heartwarming premise: love can bring your loved ones back (at least, when there are UFOs involved!)

I was quickly invested in Brad and Danny's story, probably because they were so shy and awkward. Ah, young love! *laughs*

This is a very nice, entertaining although somewhat short story, with lovely characters and a very good narration by Maxwell Palmer

GREAT Story!

This is a captivating story. Mildly adult subject matter, so also great for preteens up.

entertaining

I enjoy the way Perie Wolford's stories have an intriguing twist at the end and this one is no exception.
Was a little slow to start and it took me a little while to warm up to the characters, but by the end I was invested in Brad and Danny's story.

Film students Brad and Tag (Cooper) are home for summer break and decide to shoot a staged UFO encounter video, During filming on Cooper's boat they experience an alien presence and set out to capture evidence that it's real. Towns people have been disappearing or drowning off the coast for years, Brad's friend Danny's mother (the boy he has lusted after for years) amongst them. When Brad goes missing, his grandmother is the only one who believes in the 'others' and can help Danny get Brad back.

I enjoyed Maxwell Palmer's narration and think he has done a good job narrating Under. The characters personalities came through and I was invested in the story.

Love, patience and determination

To s.tart with this book was kind of difficult to read at the beginning, going from character to character. then I realized everyone had their part to play.
This book kind of reminds ome of The Abyss.
knowing that your Love one didn't drown at sea but was infact taken, taken by light at the bottom of the sea, as they thought.
curiosity for the Unknown and the urge to return to the ones you love, this is what I gother,
Narration was good, Story was a little confusing,
