Nicely Done

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. I do not care for foul language and sex in my books and often am forced to listen to childish and poorly written fiction. This is neither. Well crafted and pleasantly paced I enjoyed this and can’t wait for the next one!

Honestly 5 stars just doesn't do it justice.

Overall Experience, 6/5.
After listening to the first Book, it grew on me like I was biten by the Plague. I was just taken back by the performance that the Peter had done conveying each character in this Book. From Amerath, Adolen, and personally Rake each felt like being narrated by another. The immersion was there with tooth and claw of dragons pride.
Story 4.5/5 felt the issue lining with the Skuls sons felt off. The 2nd eldest was more in line of a crazed man child and very forgettable if not brought up at least once each chapter of Talya. Even now I struggle to remember his impact other than well, yeah. His brother Finn seems to feel the same. He offers an alternative but feels like a more forgettable role. Other than helping the kingdom like the council. Without question Rake and Amerath have stolen my hearth, the two of their smug and comedic charms is something that I do wait too see more and more of. I do secretly hope that Osrick learns to control more power as well as Holts relationship with Talya although I do see him becoming more of a Warden to all of the wild flights or help with ash's new kin, only the author will tell.
Personal level. I had wished they met another wild flight near the end after the fight, not much of meeting the elder but arrived at their roost. In the coming, something I would like to see in the next Book. I would recommend this book to those who like Fantasy/Dragons/Time of Kings.

Don’t stop

I would like to see more of rake but I did like the story overall and found it rather addicting sometimes it dragged a bit. I would really like to see a third book and I really want to see what happens next.

If you liked the first one, you'll like this more

The main enjoyment for me in this series has always been the the bonds and the way they grew throughout. This continuation not only expanded on all of the interesting leads that were introduced in the first book but also grew the pairs in such a real and interesting way. All the while adding new and new parings with interesting connotations to explore. I eagerly await the next book to see how all this new information resolves!

great book

I personally loved it and think it was a great 2ed book and the diffrent point of views really played off for the climax and the timing is done really well 9.5/10 p.s I loved the narrator, the sounding out of accents and the sighs and gasp really add to the detail

A different ambience and pace than book 1

As always Peter Kenny does a superb performance. The characters are complicated and unique and the world and it's history becomes even more intriguing.

This is an amazing book

I am so addicted to these books. Every character is expertly adds so much to the store can't wait for the next book!!

Another Amazing Tale

I felt like this book was a bit slower than the first book. I am a huge fan of this series and look forward to the next book. The character development between the characters was amazing and the author has a talent for making you both despise and sympathize with some of the more neutral or darker characters in the story.

This story is both unique and not in so many ways. It follows and breaks many tropes. I would definitely consider reading this if you are looking for a longer and lighthearted read.

If you looking Eragon

I absolutely love this story, and how it has unfolded and unbound. The author is very careful to craft a masterful story and hold back on the details to keep you intrigued in what is going to happen next. I struggled for a long time to find a nether dragon rider story after reading Eragon. Even though this is different it is also. I enjoy the different perspectives of magic, and where it comes from and how dragons are the sources of magic in this series is quite intriguing.
