About this listen

Can you ever truly leave the past behind in a house full of haunted souls?

Kiara always wanted a loving family she could take care of. She never thought she’d find it with the Falcones.

Nino and Kiara both lost part of themselves in their traumatic childhood. Together they’re trying to recover the missing pieces, but they aren’t the only broken souls in the Falcone mansion; Kiara fears that not all of them can be saved. Determined to protect her new family and the future of her dreams, she’s on a mission to help each of them in her own way, even if it means stacking up secrets.

Four brothers bound together by an unbreakable bond forged in their dark past. If one of them falls, will they all?

The best one out of the entire series

I was honestly expecting it to be very similar and a little bit boring in the sense that I was going to be slow paced but honestly everything was perfect, the story, the ending, the narration, everything🙌🏻
it was full of everything, love, drama, etc. highly recommend you read it.

4.5 stars overall

This whole Falcone family has such a hold on me right now, I love all the men so much. I actually loved Kiara in this book now that she came out of her shell and she’s not so damn timid. She was a bit annoying in her first book. As usual with Cora’s books, I was captivated until the very end.

Nino and Kiara Forever 😭

Needed more from Nino and Kiara, and Cora delivered. The muffin scene between the brothers and Fabiano was sweet and silly. One of the random moments that made me smile. Getting Kiara's thoughts on the Serafina situation was nice, since we got bits a pieces of it in the previous book. And I think we see Kiara's slight influence on all of the brothers. She brings out the better parts of them, without judgement. Especially Adamo who needed a positive female presence! And Savio's interactions with her made me laugh out loud! The fangirl in me enjoyed the kinkier side of Nino we see in this book. The piano scene was perfection 😭. And most importantly Kiara is the happiest she's been in a while. Overall this book was a good wrap up for the previous three books. And the start of the future for the Falcone brothers. It made me laugh, cry and be on the edge of my seat. Perfect combination. The end was nail biting regarding the brothers' mother. I was stressed, but happy that Adamo addiction was finally fully recognized. And not something that was going to go away overnight. Nino and Kiara has settled in as my second favorite couple in Cora's world, right behind Cassio and Gulia. Two couples whom I can read about over and over.

I can’t get enough of this series!

“Twisted Bonds” picks up where "Twisted Emotions" left off, delving deeper into Nino and Kiara’s marriage.

I must say, this audiobook was an absolute delight. If you loved "Twisted Emotions," then this is a must-listen as it builds upon the whole series and cannot be read as a standalone.

I have to praise the amazing dual narration by Teddy Hamilton and Emma Wilder. They always bring their A-game!

Two books about the same couple?

I have all the books from both families, starting with Luca Vitiello and Twisted Emotions and Twisted Bonds both say they are about Nino and Kiera....I must've noticed this before, but I wanted to put it out there. I was looking for Savio's story and noticed this going back through my library. I did happen to get to listen to a few books for free through my library app. So, just pay attention before you spend a credit. Maybe I missed something?

Reread done for this time around

I just love Kiara and Nino. I love their relationship, how they are with each other and how the whole family dynamic is between the brothers and Kiara and Leona and Fina. Since this is my xx time reading this book I know it by heart and it just as amazing to listen/read as it was the very first time I read it❤️ this is one of my favorite books in the series along with Twisted Emotions. I guess it time to reread the rest of the series so I can remember all the love stories Cora has written in her Mafia world

Enjoyed

This is not a standalone. You must read the previous two books in this series. With this being said, I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed getting a different perspective of the events from the previous book and getting more scenes of the entire family interacting with Nino and Kiara. Remo and Kiara, Savio and Kiara and Remo and Nino's scenes in particular were enjoyable.
Liked:
-The continued development of Kiara and Nino's relationship. Nino's continued patience and understanding with Kiara, along with Nino getting used to his emotions. I enjoyed how their sex scenes served the purpose of showing Kiara's continued healing from her past and Nino's unwavering gentleness and understanding.
-Seeing different sides of Savio in this book was a treat. I am bracing myself for reading his book and I'm glad to have seen more layers to his personality in this book.
-Adamo's character development in this book is frustrating, but I feel like it's necessary for his growth. He's been shielded from so much, while also dealing with a lot of horrors. It's not been easy on him, but also, Adamo has a sweetness to him that wars with the side of him that embraces violence. His struggle is compelling and I hope his book does this struggle justice.
