Good read but
I enjoyed the book but there were a couple of places where it seemed part of the story was missing as if there was a chapter left out, so had a bit of difficulty following it at times. otherwise would have been five stars.

Wonderful Christian romantic suspense
This book had me trying to guess who the bad guy was. But no fear, the heroes figured out who was trying to destroy them. I like how each of the Characters wonder where God is. The questions they ask are similar to questions I know I asked. Thankfully our God is ever faithful❤️

Steady
I enjoy listening to Dee Henderson’s books throughout my day. I liked the steady pace of the storyline in this book. More of a marathon persistence in the plot unfolding which was enjoyable.

Good
This was quite good and the narration was good overall, but somewhere around 3/4ths his voice seemed to change. I felt there were a few duh moments in this book that haven’t been present in the others in the series where I was a bit disappointed in the actions of law enforcement. I did appreciate some of the twists, but as at least one other reviewer said it felt like parts were missing.

The miles fly by
So very good. We do a lot of traveling and the miles flew by as we listened. Had to remind myself to keep breathing in some parts. Thank you for staying true to your faith while writing a suspense novel.

Suspense with just the right amount of romance
Character development is not always easy, but Dee Henderson does a great job. If not for the details such as corded phones, phone booths & pagers the story could easily be a current event. And the fact this is Book 4 of a series wasn’t really obvious till I went to look for more! Off to find Book 1!
