The Performance is....
The storyline is average; I was mostly engaged. The performance was inconsistent and distracting. The narrator, which at times I thought was AI moved between sounding robotic; with awkward intonation, GPS-like pronunciation of words and pauses to being very overacted. Additionally, the flow of dialogue came across as unnatural. Overall the storyline is okay and predictable, but remains entertaining. But the performance may move you to stop listening all together.

Great Book - Narration not so great...
I really enjoyed the story, but the narrator was clearly just reading lines. Not done as well as some of the others I have listened to.
But... the narration isn't so bad that I won't listen again.. the book is too good for that!

Loved it!
This was my first Irene Hannon book. I really enjoyed the story. I've already downloaded the next book! I definitely will be reading more of her stuff.

I liked the story...
I liked this storyline and the characters were likable. At one point in the story I thought Moira was being hypocritical with Cal, questioning his PI methods and truth. Considering she is a reporter I am sure she has been shady in getting her information for her top stories. Moira does tell about the scar she got when she met someone for info. For a story she wrote. Anyway, the story was good and I will probably listen to this author again. Recommend for those who like a good, clean Christian mystery.

great story, horrible narrator!!! sounds robotic
I really enjoyed the story, but was constantly distracted by how horrible the narrator sounded. it was like listening to a computer automated voice on a robo call. I will avoid all other books narrated by this person.

Good but dark
This book has great characters and suspense and is very well written. However, for me the darkness was difficult. The narration is very good. The ending is great.

Very Good Book
This was a very good storyline, although the narration wasn’t that great, it wasn’t horrible either. In the end, Moira started making dumb decisions, which really pissed me off, because all through book, she was this intelligent investigative journalist with a Pulitzer Prize nomination. To write her as making dumb decisions in the end was just wrong. But again, very good storyline!!

Very exciting
Loved this romantic suspense, it was extremely well written and kept me on the edge of my seat. The narrator was excellent as well and really added to the story.
