Great story, outstanding narration

I got hooked on Louis L’Amour 40 years ago and recently listened to all of the original Lamour’s again. This author has a little bit different style and word usage but is equally enjoyable. I see many months of enjoyment ahead.

Trek of the Mountain Man

This is another great book about Smoke. An old enemy kidnaps Sally and Smoke has to go rescue her. Pearly and Cal is also helping Smoke with the rescue. This book shows how tough Sally is. This book is full of action and adventure. Jack Garret does a great job narraiting this book. If my review was any help will you please click on the helpful link below . Thank you

Sally Jensen - kidnapped!

Smoke Jensen takes along his two partners, Pearly and Cal to get Sally back from kidnappers. They set traps and remove sentry's guarding the kidnappers camp. I really like the fact that Smoke was raised in the mountains with Preacher and knows all sorts of way to entrap anyone that goes against him. Once again, narrated by Jack Garrett, which in my opinion, does a good job of narrating a female voice. I must say though, I sometimes feel the ending is too sudden and still more could have been said.
