Magnificent Story!

Lingard tells a magnificent story in Trapped in Iran: Israelis in the Iranian Revolution. I did read the story, and enjoyed it, but I also really enjoyed this audiobook. The narration of this book is perfect, and the narrator's accents works for this story. I've read and listened work from this author before, and I think, though I loved the others, this was one of my favorites of his work. It's based on real life events, but many of the characters are fictional, but do not feel that way. It's 1979. Soon, begins the Iranian revolution, as the Ayatollah returns. It's a very action-packed, thrilling story as the world seems to explode. I like that first, the story is unpredictable, and second, the hero is not something you'd expect. This author brings the story right into the middle of the story, and the danger felt, seems so real. Then Guy meets Emma, and something takes a new twist. I am a definite fan of this author! Whatever this author puts on audiobook, I listen to. This author is a great storyteller. The story brings the reader on a superb journey. This is a magnificent story that kept this reader anticipating the next word. The author's technique of raw, magnetic characters and great plotlines is a gift. It's a great story to follow and try to figure out what will happen next. It's an unexpected revolution and something that lives in history, both real and fictional! Trapped in Iran on audiobook is a definite listening recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to listening to many more titles by this author.
