About this listen

Trisha Grove enjoys her job as a pilot for Boswell International, but she realizes something is still missing from her life: her family. She is ready to call it quits and head back home to Wyoming, where her father lives, but her last flight for Boswell ends with an unplanned trip out of this world. Trisha isn't sure at first what's real and what isn't; all she knows is she is determined to get back to her dad - no matter what it takes.

Kelan Reykill is the fourth son in the royal line of Valdier. Commander of the V'ager, one of the largest Valdier warships, he prides himself on his strict self-discipline, his ability to remain in command in any situation, and his skill at handling any challenge. That is until he meets a stubborn human female from the primitive planet his older brother sought refuge on. Now all he can think about is how to get her into his bed and under his control while staying in one piece. But when Trisha is taken from him, Kelan must track her to the ends of the universe and beyond. He knows one thing: She is his true mate, and he will kill anyone who tries to harm her.

If you like an Alpha Male...

I have listened to or read 6 of the books in this series so far and have enjoyed them. In this, the 3rd book, you will hear a basic retelling of the ending of the 1st book (for the second time). Each book should be told to stand alone, but the first three books of the series rehash the reason these girls are in space, nearly word for word. I think that has to do more with a lack of maturity of the author. After this book, there is hardly a mention of that scene from book 1, thankfully.

Secondly, these males are alpha with a capital A. They don't really think too deeply about what the women in their lives might be thinking, feeling, or needing. Their way is the way things will be done and why would you question them, they are the men! Obviously I'm on my 6th book with this story, so it's not like this is a problem for me, but if you want a man who knows how to speak with his partner, compromise or otherwise hear a different point of view, these may not be the books for you, lol.

They are sexy, they are hot, they are masculine. They just aren't good at communicating.

THE BEST

Absolutely the best of the series so far. Could be listened to as a stand-alone.

Trish's dragon scolding her made me roar with laughter every time!

Dragons, scales and fire

Kelan and Trisha's story is very good. I did find all the sex tiresome after awhile, though it was well written. I like Trisha being able to hold her own with Kelan and the other warriors. I am looking forward to what comes next with Trish and her father.

Love this series

This was the third audiobook in this series and I really enjoyed it. This was Trisha and Keylon’s love story. After arriving on a Valdier, Trisha is healed by Keylon’s symbiotic. She falls in love with him, but misses her father terribly. When she’s kidnapped by his crazy uncle, she has to fight to get free and survive on a wilderness moon until Keylon’s comes for her. Narration was very well done.

Love this series!

I wasn’t sure after the first book because it was so open ended. But I love how the author backtracks with each book and fills in the blanks! It so awesome to hear the story from so many angles. She’s woven this world so patiently.

Good but …

The story is actually good but, sheesh, cut the repetitive sex scenes that add no value to the story. So glad dialogue was solid showing good, strong males with no need to use foul language.
