minimal internal angst.

an enjoyable few hour with a likely post apocalypse world. descriptions of the landscape are particularly fine

I'm glad I took a chance with this!

Both author and narrator are new to me and this was my first post apocalyptic/zombie m/m romance so I feel like I hit the jack pot in that both the story and the performance kept me engaged - so much I can't believe how much I enjoyed this. I hope Paul Michael Winters hasn't spoiled me as I most definitely will seek out more books like this.

good story great narrating

overall I loved the story and the writing. Characters were only minimally annoying. I was definitely left wanting more.

I loved this book listened to it in one sitting I just couldn’t stop listening made my little gay heart happy would recommend I wish it didn’t have to end Zach and Aiden were perfect characters the type of love I want

That ending was amazing same with the narrator bravo this left me wanting more and more for every chapter.

Character development

I really like how they explain how it felt to be alone and what they had to go through, but I feel like that could be less inappropriate stuff and more focusing on the real mission

A fun, emotional and awesome story

This book is the perfect blend of a sweet gay love story with a post-apocalypse adventure. It had me binge consuming it by the end of the second chapter. If you like the show Heartstopper, you will love the two protagonists in this story.

Post-apocalyptic Romance

Definitely one of my favorites so far. Well written and makes you fall in love with the characters.

This book had incredible depth and detail

I loved how it portrayed what it’s like to push emotions down and bottle them up. It had incredible character development and didn’t have too much unnecessary miscommunication added in. Overall I think that this would be one of my favorite post apocalyptic books I’ve read.

My new favorite book

I love the dynamic these two people have! I think the story makes a lot of sense, the writing is excellent, it doesn't feel rushed, and the story is just gorgeous. I totally recommend this and would definitely give it a read!
