Earth used to have such protection—the great Geckho race. But unfortunately, the Geckho fell to an enemy onslaught, leaving planet Earth to fend for itself. And now, Earth humanity has precious little time to prove to their galactic neighbors that they are not to be trifled with.
Thankfully though, they have not only the mighty Army of Earth and a capable space fleet, but also something unique of which no other race can boast—Gnat and his ancient cruiser, which can travel instantly to any point in the Universe, breaking all conventional strictures and laws of war.

Lotss of politics no much lvling up.
Last book had alot of stats, this one comes with politics and factions. Not bad, wonder whats next for the mc. Wonder how his gonna lvl going foward.

Filler book
Not my favorite book in this series. There wasn’t much to the story, the ending was so so, I feel like it was meant to be a longer book, but cut it in half to make more money.

Another winner!
This is one of my all time favorite series!
Not sure what to say because if you're this far along you know what's going on and any additional info is going to be spoilers.
I'll just say that if you've enjoyed the series thus far you're not going to be disappointed with this one.

Better!
There’s a lot of interesting story plot introduced with much more Perimeter Defense crossover. Overall, I’m finding it was more exciting when the main character was struggling for every level up and resource early in the series. This later series plot is executed well, just on a galactic scale, which makes it much harder for well earned personal skills and level ups to matter as much with such a large stage. I find myself wondering if it’s time to start winding down the series to a conclusion.
