great story

was a great experience. 👍. only thing is that the book is so short by themselves.

Very Engaging

This box set was very engaging I listened all the way through in a few days I could not put it down and immediately bought the rest of the series that was available. The author encourages you to invest in the characters and want more. I would only say the MC is only a bit OP but that is par for the norm for these books and I can live with that. I love the magnanimous main character in how he disregards society's prejudices.

I'm only about 8 or so hours in. the put more fire under your opponents killed me as I have listened to lvl up lmao. love it. hope lvl up gets more. left me wanting. can't wait to finish this and possibly be left wanting lol. thank you for such great entertainment. continue the great work.

Pretty good for a necro book

Just a regular megalomaniac trying to find a girlfriend and ends up subjugating all his friends in order to overthrow the establishment.

Hilarious

Great storyline with hilarious parts. Definitely going to get the next box set and the final books.

great vr game affects the real world story.

this seems to be tied to Dan's HERO book and even though it is different it does hint at that.

Good Series with Inconsistencies -Recommend reading

The Good. These series is fun and has some nice real life dystopia ramifications make the VR life actually important rather than pointless like some VR novels. It starts a bit slow, but picks up later. The MC is pretty smart which is nice so he doesn't make all that many mistakes.


The Bad. none of which are a big deal, but can sometimes get annoying if you are detail oriented.

It gets a bit annoying when certain things are forgotten, like how instances were only put into Maintenance so his curse ability to respawn in the same place was not noticed, but even after he loses the curse he still thinks the maintenance will occur.

Later in book 3. When his high level guardians are fighting things lower then them they struggle for some reason, despite having a 10-17x stat bonus from the other threats OP stat buff. They should have instantly killed everything, but for some reason they struggle and die when they should have had the stats of level 1000s... Forcing the MC to do crazy stuff.


Definitely still one of the better Translated series though, and a great value for 1 credit. I recommend.
